Marketing Assistant

Summary

Following significant company growth, the Marketing Assistant position has become available to work alongside and report to the Marketing Manager.
This position offers excellent scope to learn and carve your career in B2B Marketing. You will be involved in all aspects of the marketing department, supported by the marketing manager to grow and develop your skills, autonomy and creative input.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop social media communications content, scheduling and engagement.
Take ownership of assigned projects within the marketing department through to completion.
Brochure development using InDesign to a high standard, adhering to brand visual guidelines.
Content creation, including photographs, videos, icons and presentations for various marketing channels.
Copywriting, producing effective and engaging written content for various marketing channels, working closely with internal subject matter experts to develop highly technical content into reader-friendly material targeted at various audiences.
Utilise HubSpot Marketing CRM to manage customer data, create targeted campaigns based on customer data, track engagement metrics, and generate reports.
Website management using HubSpot CMS to update content, create new pages, optimise user experience, and ensure optimal metadata and tags.
Events and exhibition planning, including stand design, event promotions and administrative tasks.
Market and competitor research to keep abreast with industry developments and steer marketing activity.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Skills/Competencies:


IT Literate - confident user in Microsoft Office and marketing software as mentioned below.
Excellent Communication Skills - both written and verbal
Strong organisational and project management skills
The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Highly conscientious with a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality content while adhering to brand identity guidelines.
A willingness to independently learn new skills, platforms and programmes.
Proactive and highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and take initiative in driving projects forward.
Proficiency in InDesign

Google Analytics and other analytical software & Google Ads
LinkedIn
Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe CC programs
Video creation software
SEO

Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
Or previous experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in B2B
