HVAC specialist Daikin Applied UK has successfully acquired a comprehensive range of health, safety, Quality and Environmental professional certifications for its contracting and service business and are members of the British Safety Council.
J&E Hall, which trades as Daikin Applied Service (DAPS), is now a gold member of the Contructionline accreditation scheme that connects clients with safe and competent suppliers. The company has also achieved health & safety accreditation from Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) – the industry reassurance scheme for public and private sector buyers, which is supported by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Daikin Applied Service also holds CHAS Premium Plus and SafeContractor approved status and has successfully completed the SafeContractor pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) process administered by Alcumus that establishes how a firm addresses key business issues including finance, the environment, equality and diversity, GDPR and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
Meeting PQQ requirements in advance considerably simplifies and speeds up the procurement process by giving clients the necessary reassurance they need to appoint a contractor.
Daikin Applied Service is also a member of Achilles, UVDB and Community Certified schemes, which assesses suppliers for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) as well as environmental management, legal, financial, health and safety record, reliability and quality of service.
“We are extremely proud to hold this array of certifications, which provide independent third-party verified proof of our professionalism and technical competence. Within DAPS we have a strong health and safety culture which all employees, from the top down help to support and strive to achieve our ultimate goal of a safe and healthy working environment for all” said Glen Mason of DAPS.
“The company has always taken its responsibilities to clients and the wider public very seriously; and this is just further evidence of the depth of investment we have put into keeping our engineers and business processes up-to-date and in line with regulatory requirements and the latest industry standards.”
