Air-Cooled Cooling-Only Chillers: Extension of Scroll Range and Shell & Tube Option

In February 2023, Daikin enhanced its scroll compressor chiller range with R-32 by introducing a new air-cooled chiller series, increasing the maximum cooling capacity to 1,010 kW (up from the previous 704 kW). This aligns with Daikin’s commitment to delivering low-carbon solutions for both process and comfort cooling applications. The compact design of these chillers offers a footprint up to 3 metres shorter than equivalent screw chillers, making them a space-efficient solution.

In April 2024, Daikin further extended the range with new models offering cooling capacities from 180 to 400 kW and introduced the Shell & Tube evaporator option for units above 700 kW. These updates expand the scope of applications and improve system versatility.
